Before Silk Road was licensed, many of our regular guests brought a favourite bottle to the table, shared meals with family and friends, and supported our Pakistani kitchen as it found its feet.
We remember that.
Silk Road is now fully licensed, and our general BYOB days have come to an end. But for some of the regular guests who supported us before this new chapter, we would like to keep something special.
Become a Friend of Silk Road
Existing regulars can apply to become a Friend of Silk Road.
Friends is our way of recognising the guests who have been part of our story — with selected privileges, occasional special offers and invitations created especially for our regulars.
For approved Friends, this can include the personal privilege of bringing your own wine or beer when dining with us, subject to our Friends terms and corkage policy.
Membership is complimentary, but registration does not automatically mean acceptance.
How To Apply
Complete the short registration form below using the details you normally use when booking with us.
We will ask you to tell us approximately when you last visited Silk Road. This helps us identify our existing guests.
Your application will then remain pending until your next visit to the restaurant, when a member of our team can validate your details and confirm your Friends membership.
Not every application will necessarily be accepted. Friends of Silk Road is intended for established customers and membership remains at the discretion of Silk Road.
Your Friends Privilege
Friends membership is personal to you.
If your membership includes our legacy BYOB privilege, it allows you as the registered Friend to bring an eligible drink for your own consumption when dining with us.
It is not a BYOB entitlement for the whole table. Other guests dining with you should order their drinks from the Silk Road drinks menu unless they are separately registered and approved Friends themselves.
Membership cannot be transferred, shared, lent or used on behalf of another person.
Please mention that you are a Friend of Silk Road when making your reservation and let our team know when you arrive.
More Than BYOB
Friends of Silk Road isn’t simply about bringing a bottle.
From time to time, our Friends may receive special offers, previews, invitations and other privileges that we don’t make generally available.
As Silk Road evolves, we hope Friends will become our way of looking after the people who have supported us along the journey.
A Few House Rules
Friends membership is subject to approval and validation at the restaurant.
Membership and its privileges are personal and non-transferable. Outside alcohol privileges apply only to the registered member’s personal consumption and do not extend to other members of their party.
Only permitted alcoholic drinks may be brought onto the premises. Corkage and quantity limits may apply, and our team retains the right to refuse outside alcohol where appropriate.
Friends privileges, offers and benefits may change from time to time and can be suspended or withdrawn at Silk Road’s discretion.
Our normal licensing and responsible-service requirements continue to apply at all times.
