Ramadan Kareem: Iftar at Silk Road
Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity and gathering.
As the sun sets and the fast is broken, tables fill, conversation grows warmer, and food is shared with intention. At Silk Road, we invite you to join us for Iftar throughout Ramadan — whether you are fasting or simply wish to experience the atmosphere of the season.
You do not need to be observing the fast to take part. You only need an appetite and good company.
A Thoughtfully Curated Iftar Feast
Our Iftar menu has been designed with balance and comfort in mind — beginning gently, building in flavour, and finishing with something sweet.
Break Your Fast
We begin as tradition encourages: lightly and warmly.
Channa Chaat with tamarind and fresh herbs.
Freshly fried pakoras.
Hand-folded samosas — lamb or vegetable.
And a lighter House Golden Daal broth to gently warm the evening.
It is food to ease you back in.
Indulge In
From there, the table becomes generous.
For the Non-Veg Feast:
Chicken Iron Karahi, vibrant with tomatoes and fresh green chilli.
Char-grilled Seekh Kebab, seasoned with herbs and warming spices.
Jinnah Vegetable Biryani, layered with fragrant basmati and whole spices.
For the Veg Feast:
Punjabi Emerald Saag Aloo, gently cooked in spiced spinach.
Mohenjo-Daro Bhutta, char-grilled and brushed with butter and lime.
Jinnah Vegetable Biryani, fragrant and deeply aromatic.
Both feasts are accompanied by naan, cooling raita and kachumber salad.
We are happy to refresh daal, raita and salad — just ask.
End With Something Sweet
No Iftar is complete without dessert.
Choose from:
Kheer — slow-simmered rice pudding with cardamom.
Gajar Halwa — warm, rich and glossy.
Fruit Chaat — bright and refreshing.
Kulfi — traditional handmade ice cream in classic flavours.
